Little Oxford Nursery And Day Care

    Sunday, 22^nd April ’12, Earth Day was observed at the nursery

with the support of Babyshop. Activities such as messy play,

drawing, colouring and craft activities were carried out with the

children. They were elucidated the importance of recycle waste

followed by making of tin can pen holders. A magician kept the

children entertained by the magic and balloon bending

techniques. The kids had a lovely time.

Babyshop then distributed gift hampers to all the kids.

It was a very special day for all at Little Oxford Nursery And Day Care. Hilton, Ras Al Khaimah, organized ‘The Earth Hour Activity’ with a variety of creative and fun – filled activities for the kids. The little children were made aware of the importance of saving our Mother Planet ‘Earth’ and recycle of waste. Children painted a huge canvas with pictures of nature and made pen stands out of used tin cans. They were shown the difference between the various different coloured garbage bins and their uses. Cookies, juices and milk shakes were then distributed among the kids. Kids were later presented with Earth Hour certificates.

It was indeed time well spent.Thankyou, HILTON!
