‘PABLO PICASSO’
This week we saw the unfettered release of paint, colour and
imagination.
Art is an activity that supports this release in young children
allowing them to explore, manipulate and experiment various materials in an
unstructured and a natural way. These self-directed artistic explorations and
experimentations do not only guarantee fun but also learning.
Through art, critical thinking takes the front seat as kids decide on a mental picture of what they plan to create and then follow through their plan. Free expression is equally vital for children’s over-all health and well-being as it helps relieve stress and facilitate self-confidence.
Along with the art activities, kids were busy in a variety of activities that aimed at holistic development of their little personalities.
